Stator Ground Protection Relay

The SEL-2664S is a specialized protection solution for high-impedance grounded generators, designed to provide continuous 100% protection for the generator stator winding. It detects ground faults under all conditions—whether the generator is stopped, starting, or in normal operation—using a unique signal injection method. Integrating protection, metering, monitoring, and control into a compact industrial package, it can be used as a standalone device or integrated with third-party relays to maximize system safety.

100% Stator Ground Protection (64S)

Combines neutral overvoltage (59N) elements and signal injection methods to achieve 100% stator ground protection without blind spots.
Multisine Injection Method

Uses proprietary multi-frequency signal injection technology to eliminate frequency blind spots during generator startup and ensures precise measurement of insulation resistance regardless of operating status.
NGR Monitoring

Continuously monitors the status of the Neutral Grounding Resistor (NGR) to immediately detect abnormal conditions such as open or short circuits.
Rotor/Field Ground Protection (64F) Expansion

Interconnects with the SEL-2664 Field Ground Module to simultaneously protect the generator rotor field insulation status.
Flexible System Integration

Broad Protocol Support

Supports IEC 61850, Modbus TCP/RTU, DNP3, FTP, Telnet, and MIRRORED BITS communications for easy integration with supervisory systems.
Intuitive HMI

Provides immediate status and trip cause identification via front-panel LEDs (ENABLED, TRIP, WARNING, 64S, etc.) and includes a target reset button.
