SEL Computing Platform

The SEL-3355 is a rugged and versatile computing platform designed to deliver optimal performance even in the harsh environments of substations and industrial sites. This device is designed and tested according to rigorous IEC standards equivalent to protective relays. It can be configured as an SEL Blueframe application platform or used as an industrial computer running Microsoft Windows or Linux operating systems, depending on the user's requirements.

Can be equipped with up to four drives, including highly reliable single-level cell (SLC) SSDs.
Wide Operating Temperature Range

Operates stably in extreme environments, ranging from -40°C ~ +75°C (2.0 GHz model) or -40°C ~ +60°C (2.8 GHz model), depending on the processor specifications.
Redundant Power Supplies

Supports hot-swappable redundant AC/DC power supplies to enhance system availability.

Remote Management Technology (Intel vPro AMT)

Allows for remote access to system video, keyboard, mouse, and storage for diagnostics and recovery even when the operating system is unresponsive or shut down.
Automatic System Recovery

SEL SysMon software and a built-in watchdog timer monitor system health in real-time and attempt automatic recovery upon detecting a failure.

Provides multiple high-resolution display interfaces, making it easy to build local Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
